They're Only Shoes

I know in the back of my head that it's important not to focus on material things. The most important things in life are free, as the saying goes. But Coco Chanel also said "The best things in life are free, the second best are very expensive,"" which I think is SO true.

I'm what you would call a shoe hoarder. I buy shoes I don't need because they're pretty. But who among you can tell me honestly this is not the most beautiful pair of shoes you have ever seen? I feel wrong even calling them "shoes." They are art.
