I have a pretty big affinity for old music, so generally when artists do remakes of classic songs, I'm not a fan. Why mess with what works? I've never been one to fawn over Elvis' music, but there are some of his songs that are just perfect. I found this cover last night looking for a video of Elvis performances (as one normally does at 10:30 at night), and it is so good, y'all. It takes such a slow, moving song into a lighter place. Also, the ukelele is such a cool instrument in general. I wish I could play!
